Amy Asay began her ballet training in Sacramento, California under the direction of Marguerite Phares. She moved to Utah at the age of 17 and joined the Utah Regional Ballet Company directed by Jacqueline Colledge. Amy has received the William F. Christensen ballet scholarship at the University of Utah, starred in a LDS Motion picture, danced in the musical “Utah”, and also with Odyssey Dance Theatre for four years. She hung up her dancing shoes to be a mom and have her first child. She and her husband now reside in Eagle Mountain with their four children. She has been teaching ballet for several years and some of her dancers have gone on to dance professionally and receive scholarships. She is excited to be a part of the Saratoga Performing Arts family.
